It is a small ensemble/choral work that uses the ancient hymn, "Of The Father's Love Begotten" as a thematic corner stone. Interweaved thorough the work is a counter melody proclaiming the simple, yet profound notion that God, the eternal being has called himself father to his people.
While the lyrics in the hymn express God's power and grandeur, the interwoven lyric: "Abba. Father, we adore you" calls to attention the personal and loving communication we can have with Him.
Though it may be hard to hear in the recording, the youth choir is in the lofts of the church. They set the atmosphere of the work by singing the line, "Father, we adore you." This is a recurring theme during the piece.

Of the Father's love begotten, ere the worlds began to be,
He is Alpha and Omega, He the Source, the Ending He,
of the things that are, that have been, and that future years shall see,

O that birth forever blessed, when the Virgin, full of grace,

Praise be to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
